oh the past!
what a hysterical picture of baby joshua! from the summer of 07. we are looking through old photos trying to find out which swimsuit noah was wearing when he was two because i need to find it for joshy. no luck yet--it seems poor noah has worn the exact same suit for three years!

took a photography workshop this weekend so i know a BIT more about my camera.

my first hat
my first three-week knitting class has ended, and one month later i've finally finished the project! hopefully all my other projects won't take as long! to many a random person, as well as to some friends, i say thank you. many folks helped me finish, including an extra session of time with my teacher. my fears of having a difficult time learning something new definitely came true. but i press on! i think i'll try a scarf next, with the yarn i bought the day of the sheep shearing. it's a beautiful purple color and i think i'll at least not need it for awhile.
thanks to noah, the model extraordinaire! and a shout out to my dear friend clare who helped me get started.
oh and one more funny thing, or maybe not-so-funny, the hat was supposed to fit me, but i messed up my measurements and it only fits a kid. aye! oh well, there are always other hats to knit!

smiles!
i'm getting WAY lazy here on this blog. i need some inspiration i think! next week is a photography seminar and then we're also thinking on buying a mac. should be fun if it happens! anywhoo, i put a very similar photo up a few weeks ago but this one is so smiley it's blog-worthy.
we're getting geared up for spring soccer & swim lessons--our schedule should get more busy soon. until then i'm loving the pace of our lives.
