the ship is done!

yah-yah got noah a set to build a ship. he needed quite a bit of help to build it but alas it is finished!

it's been a great saturday morning here. jeff made sausage balls (our fave!), i brewed coffee, and the kids got to watch trashy cartoons that we never let them watch! and now the boys are at the meet&greet for winter basketball at the ymca.

now, what shall i do with my hour free? hmm....

the thanksgiving feast, TK style

noah had his thanksgiving feast at school today--same as last year, but now he's so much bigger! still didn't try the pumpkin pie. oh well! don't they look cute all dressed up?

music night at preschool

this is noah ELATED about his music night at school. he just loves a good chance to share what he's learning with all of us. even yah-yah made it. what fun!

neighbors...

this is the scene on our street nearly everyday, thanks to wonderful friends living so close! the kids LOVE playing bakugan and baseball most.

joshy goes to college!

joshy's favorite blues clues episode is when steve passes the torch to joe in 'steve goes to college.' lately, for some reason (we haven't seen the show in at least 6 months!) he's been pretending to go to college. all with noah's backpack on. this kid is cute!

i had to take a photo of this cake i've made twice in one week! i can't get over the fact that i could make anything that looks or tastes this good, all from things in my cupboard! it definitely inspired me. and many thanks to beth farrand for passing along the recipe and encouragement!!! now off to the gym to run off all those calories!

GREAT neighbors

we had a spontaneous dinner together last night with our wonderful neighbors who live across the street. it is a tremendous gift from God to have friends so close! looking forward to many more meals together in the future!

we had a great visit with the darlings....love that our kids are dear friends too. gifts from God, to be very thankful for.

Dance Party USA!

the darlings are at our house tonight (minus jacob who is camping!) and we had a very successful dance party tonight in noah's room pre-book reading before bed time!
