yep, you heard right. and we actually ate it. and enjoyed it! the only good news is that it was split between the four of us. it's a shame i didn't capture our ingestion of it on camera. it really was worth the $14 admission!
so yesterday we went to the Dixie Classic Fair. we weren't sure if it was a good decision to go, but were surprised at how much fun it was! the crowds of weird & loud people, and the ethical issues we have in the amounts of money charged for fun were overlooked by the thrill the boys had and the surprise moments we found ourselves tucked away. a great ferris wheel ride, ribboned fries eaten at the empty rodeo stadium looking out at the fair, and wonderful front row seats to a trick bmx bike show. so fun! we let the kids ride just a few rides and they were so fun.
we ended our time hanging with the winston fire fighters and touring a truck. what a great way to spend a sunday afternoon! and thank God we didn't get deep fried butter! (which they did have for sale).
