yesterday was jeff's special 34th birthday! it was a great day, according to him. he said the best part of the day was first thing, as he was getting ready for his day, when God overwhelmed him with gratitude for all he has been given. what a wonderful gift!
we met him for lunch at Zoe's kitchen (the kids always want to eat there in honor of their favorite cousin Zoe!) and had friends for cake after a steak dinner. tonight the boys come over for a fun night of video games & snacks & beer. and tomorrow night we'll go out for an adult dinner (i'm excited for that!). it is going to be a great year! and i sure do love my pookie!
